Who we are

​

We are a couple who love travelling and meeting new people. Because of it, we started our own company to share our passion with the world.

 

Jan is an accredited tour guide who is from the Spis region in Slovakia. Lilian is a Brazilian/Italian English and Primary teacher who also graduated in Tourism. We have a lot of experience travelling around the world and living abroad, and we have chosen Slovakia to be our home.

 

We met when we were living in London. Jan worked over 10 years in a third sector enterprise where he was a business manager. He also worked in the evenings and weekends taking international students to welcome events and day tours in London, doing this as a part time job and almost as a hobby, as he loves meeting people and sharing his passion for travelling. Before England, he lived in Israel and Holland. When Lilian met Jan she had been working as an English Teacher in London for 7 years and was finishing her studies to become a Primary Teacher. During her time in England, she lived in Swanage and Brighton where she worked in the educational and tourism fields. She had also lived in Italy where she worked as an English teacher.

 

We both love travelling so when we got married we decided to take a break for 6 months. We travelled to several countries, China, Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Brazil. We had already founded our company before the trip. But during the trip, our desire to work with something we enjoyed was consolidated. Moreover, all the experiences we had, good and bad, contributed to us wanting to have an agency that would provide tourists only with genuine experiences and trustworthy services. Slovakia gave us the opportunity to live our dream. Here nature is exuberant. People are genuine. History and culture are so rich and enchanted. The castles, UNESCO sites, mineral hot springs, medieval towns and even a very special wine well known 'as the wine of the kings and king of wines' fascinated us and now are delighting our guests.
